FIRST A DISCLAIMER THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION!!!😱
Should Amber Heard be taken out of the future "Aquaman" movie? Do we really believe in equality for everyone? Our society and the entertainment business should answer yes to this in my opinion!!
Star Trek fans, me included, often state part of the attraction for this franchise relates to the justice and hope Gene Rodenberry creates here. This means all species work together for betterment of society regardless of their differences.
Extrapolate that back from the future to present day. Human choices, race and other factors should start to mean no difference in how one is treated with consequences for all being the same.
Being treated the same requires one axiom to be adjusted, in my opinion, for those that have an equal understanding of consequences. This axiom or different rule should apply to those mentally or physically unable to comprehend or able to physically alter things so the equality can proceed.
On a personal note, I may not believe totally in my church's doctrine or that God sactions bisexual, homosexual or other close topics. That may be my opinion. Yet, here in the United States everyone is entitled to an opinion. These rights never out weighs those of other people.
LET ME CLARIFY, my opinion that God doesn't sanction the above stated different sexual life choices, DOES NOT MEAN I THINK EVERYONE MUST AGREE WITH MY BELIEFS. I really feel just the opposite, I can have my beliefs but also champion the right of others with different opinions. As long as opinions or lifestyles conform to laws that are both moral and ethical within our society's boundaries, then I am fine with these variations.
******Noteable exceptions dealing with above stated is where the definition of moral and ethical need to be changed. A specific past example from history would be slavery. In this instance those laws making it okay to own a person IS NEITHER MORAL OR ETHICAL. Thus, if equality or other is broken by an existing law, it should be changed to correct for this.
I always try to go back to the Golden Rule. Restated, ask yourself not if you agree with someone but if you were put in their exact position ask "How would you desire to be treated?" That means complete position of the other person and consequences. Thus, if you would want to be treated different because it is you in the same position, stop to think what is right. The treatment or rights of people should not change for true equality. (except when adjusting for people unable to comprehend or physically be able to compare compete.....I assume people get this).
After watching and following the news of the Johnny Depp lawsuit, the "METOO MOVEMENT," and other such, if Amber Heard is found due to her article or its untruthfulness as responsible, then there should be like consequences.
If our society is to evolve holding equality for all as important and lawful; our society must apply laws the same. Again, society must tweak this when applying standards to those with mental, intellectual or physical differences dictate such.
My opinion is Heard should be dropped from the cast of the new "Aquaman" movie. Again, this is my opinion with this post iseditorial in nature, just my thoughts and comments.
